The Amazing Hanging Train of Wuppertal

Here is the track of the Hanging Train going about the street in Wuppertal
 

It is amazing to think that this was built over 100 years ago. The Wuppertal Hanging Railway was opened by the German Emperor on October 23, 1900.



Here we are getting into the train which is electrically powered.

 



The driver always knows where he is going.
