This is the Düssel River that gives Düsseldorf it’s name; Village on the Dussel River

There are some fine trees in the Neander Valley.

The grains of sand represent the passing of time.
 

Bones. The Neanderthal people are long gone but their bones were first found in the 18th century.



This display shows and Neanderthal familiy with the a type of tent they may have used.

 



The Neanderthal’s were able to speak, they made stone tools, jewelry, musical instruments and apparently liked to watch TV.


You see here two Neanerthals. One in Stone Age costume and the other as cleaned up and in modern dress. They were very much stronger than modern people, although they did not look that different
