The famous gasometer



No longer is there gas inside, but an exhibtion ‘The Appearance of Beauty’.

  



Look at the size of it! The Gasometer was built in 1927 and is the largest in the world.

Here is the ‘Vegetable Man’, the picture is all made from different vegetables and flowers.
Another notable work of art.

After I seen what was inside the gasometer, I climbed to the top and here is the view.  The large houses are those of the factory owners.		  


Some people throw coins on this piller at the top of the gasometer.
