A street in the town of Aachen

A strange sculpture in the street.  All the parts are movable.

Town Hall of Aachen.

To touch the paw of this dog is supposed to be luckly. I was in ver a lucky day as I had already shaken hands with a chimney sweep.

In side the Kaiserdom, which is modeled after the Byzantine style of Constantinople.

A statue of Mary.

Here you can clearly see the Byzantine style of the arches.

On the upper lever of the Kaiserdom is this chair.  Here the king would sit an get a good view of what was going on below.

All good cathedrals have relic cases and this one is no exception.

Finally on the way home again and a view of the station at Düsseldorf.
