Head the sign that reads danger, danger Road Train’, Actually not quite the same at those found Australia, this road train is for taking people from the distant car park in Bowness to the lake.

This is our ship, built in the 1930’s in Barrow in Furness and then shipped to the lake in bits by train.


This is Lake Windermere as we leave the port of Bowness.		  

We headed South for a trip on the Lakeland Railway.



The blue engine arrives at the station.  I got out of the way before it went under the bridge but a young boy did not. He was covered in steam and cinders.

  



Made in Scotland, in a town in Ayrshire in the South.


It was a long train.

The fire of the engine burns brightly.


This is a monument to the Battle of Waterloo, the greatest victory of the Duke of Wellington (with help from Marshall Gebhard Leberecht von Blücher) when he defeated Napoleon.

I had a look a car show when I went back to where I had parked my car. I very muched liked the yellow car, which is a 1952 Cadillac. The forground car is a Ford Cougar.

We went for a drive around and found mist in the valley.

We went on the railyway in the South end of the lake and this is an island right in the North.
