This is the port of Campbelltown, which seems to be quite a thriving place and the first real city we had seen since leaving Glasgow.

Sheep on the road!

You’ve heard the song, but here is the real Mull of Kintyre. It’s a long way down.

I saw this deserted house ojn my way down the zig-zag track to the lighthouse.

Here I am right at the bottom by the Mull of Kintyre Lighthouse.

Just along the coast from the Mull of Kintyre is the holiday town of Southend and here I am on the beach.

This is a teapot display in a curious teashop we visited.

The garden of the Redknow Hotel, where we stayed in Campbelltown.

There was action in Campbelltown, a marching pipe band.

Blue sky, blue sea, deserted beach - the only thing missing is you.

So here I am in the sea and it really was not that cold, much warmer than it had been on Shetland.

Time for another ferry. This one is taking us to Islay.
