We are on the Rocky Mountaineer and heading out of Banff.

The trees were already changing colour as we head into the mountains.

Some real Rocky Mountains.

Into the tunnel we go.

Our trian going along the banks of the Thompson River.

A small waterfall by the railside.

A calm stretch of the Thompson River which runs into the Fraser River.

Now the Fraser River.

An older iron brideg over the Fraser River.

Logs outside of a factory, waiting to be made into plywood.

A large lake known as the Houseboat Capital of the World, because it has so many houseboats.

Mount Hood can be seen in the distance as we approach Vancouver.

Yellow trees by the track, we are coming back to a civilized area.

The Vancouver railyard - quite a few engines.
