We are ready for action, for a Hornblower cruise to Niagara Falls.

The American Falls. People were walking very close to the bottom of these falls so there must be a passageway to get down there.

The Red Ponchos on our ship near to the Canadian Falls. I was unable to take any closer pictures because there was so much spray and I could hardly see.

A view of both the falls from the road.

The town of Niagara Falls is very much a poorman’s Las Vegas.

This is the Whirlpool Rapids. If you look closely you can see that a cable car goes across the river here.

After Niagara Falls, we visited Niagara on the Lake, which is a very quiant little town. This shop is called ‘Cheese Secrets’, and I know someone who would love to visit here.

The beach on Lake Ontario

Niagara on the lake even has a band stand.

Across the river is this rather menacing American fort. I could see the sun glinting of the cannons.
