![]() We spent our last night in Woolacombe where they have a very fine beach but also very high parking charges of £7 a day. |

![]() On the way home we went to the village of Lynmouth, which is at the bottom of a steep cliff. |

![]() There is a funicular railway to take you up to the town of Lynton. |
![]() The railway is operated by water. There are water tanks on the car and the tank of the car at the top is filled to make it heavy enough to go down and pull up the bottom car which has emptied its tank. |
